Why does wilderness matter to you?

Our great American wilderness means a lot to me but also to millions of Americans, foreign visitors and the other creatures with whom we share it. Not only does a vibrant and PROTECTED wilderness mean a habitat home for the many beautiful creatures found there but also a verdant reminder of our blessings. We get clean water, air and many other things from our clean and protected surroundings. It is NOT for us to destroy what we have left as some would for their senseless greed but to be careful guardians for all generations to come. Keep the world alive and viable, please!
